The Sultan hosted his guests with traditional ‘wedang semlo’ amidst the sounds of gamelan music playing around the pendopo.

In addition to the meeting with the Sultan, Megawati’s visit to Yogyakarta included attending the wedding reception of the son of PDIP Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto, Ignatius Windu Hastomo (Igo) and Lim Xin Rui (Emily), held at the Pendapa Kridha Manunggal Budaya on Saturday (23/5).

The fifth President of Indonesia personally offered her congratulations to Hasto Kristiyanto and his wife, Maria Ekowati. Megawati was also accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karno, during the event. The wedding was attended by numerous PDIP leaders, including Ganjar Pranowo, Komaruddin Watubun, and Bambang Wuryanto, as well as prominent public figures such as Mahfud MD, Todung Mulya Lubis, and Rocky Gerung.
