Megawati in Romania for three-day visit

President Megawati arrived in Romania on Friday for a three-
day visit to meet with top officials and spend some time at a
mountain resort.

Megawati and Iliescu later held talks at the 17th century
Cotroceni Palace. She also was expected to meet with Prime
Minister Adrian Nastase and other leading members of the ruling
Party of Social Democracy.

On Saturday, Megawati and other Indonesian officials will
visit Peles Castle in the Carpathian Mountains, which was home to
Romania's royal family and is now a tourist attraction. She will
leave Romania on Sunday for Russia and Poland. -- AP
