Mega must act
for total reform

For the sake of the country and the nation, President Megawati
Soekarnoputri must make a clean break with the New Order forces
and carry out a total reform agenda.

If she unites herself with the forces of the New Order, our
country will go through a protracted disaster and she will
continuously be criticized by the ordinary people.

Therefore, she must unite with Sukarno's big family and the
ordinary people to straighten out history and proceed with the
total reform. We must all work hard to establish a just and
prosperous society true to the aspirations of the Aug. 17, 1945,
revolution.

If the President fulfills the aspirations of the revolution,
she need not feel any fear or hesitation. The common people will
be united to carry out her command to eradicate collusion,
corruption and nepotism. Assets seized from those involved in
corruption, collusion and nepotism will be used for the benefit
of the common people and for the development of the country.

In this way, the legacy of Megawati and Sukarno's big family
will never be forgotten. And the dignity of Bung Karno, as one of
the proclaimers of the independence of Indonesia, will always be
held in glory.
