Mega-Hasyim posters questioned

PALANGKA RAYA, Central Kalimantan: Spectators complained on
Monday about dozens of Mega-Hasyim posters that were put up on a
building in Palangka Raya where a talk show was being held.

They accused the Indonesian Youth National Committee, which
organized the talk show, of supporting presidential candidate
Megawati Soekarnoputri and her running mate Hasyim Muzadi.

"The committee only put up Mega-Hasyim posters. Where are the
posters of the other presidential and vice presidential
candidates?" asked Anto, one of the spectators.

The chairman of the event's organizing committee, Mahyosi,
said the Mega-Hasyim posters were the only ones put up because
the campaign teams of the other candidates failed to provide the
committee with their posters. -- JP
