Meeting with Singapore PM, Rosan Hopes Singapore Investment in Indonesia to Increase Above IDR 975 Trillion
Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani held a meeting with Singapore’s Prime Minister to advance bilateral investment cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore. During the discussion, Rosan expressed hopes that Singapore’s investment in Indonesia would increase significantly, targeting figures above USD 63.17 billion (approximately IDR 975 trillion). This meeting reflects Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with one of its key ASEAN partners. Singapore has been a major source of foreign direct investment in Indonesia, and both nations continue to explore opportunities for expanded collaboration in various sectors. The discussions underscore Indonesia’s efforts to accelerate foreign investment inflows and support economic growth under President Joko Widodo’s administration. Both countries have emphasised the importance of maintaining strong economic relationships to support their respective development agendas and regional economic stability.
