Meeting between Rismon, suspect in Jokowi's diploma case, and Gibran

The suspect in the case alleging forged credentials of Indonesia’s seventh president, Jokowi, Rismon Hismon Hasiholan Sianipar, met with Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice President’s office in Central Jakarta on Friday, 13 March 2026.

When asked about the purpose of his visit, Rismon stated that he merely wished to pay respects to Gibran.

Previously, Gibran had responded to Rismon’s apology concerning the case alleging Jokowi’s forged diploma and expressed appreciation for Rismon’s stance.
