Meet the Five New OJK Board Members, with Tok and Friderica as Chair
Commission XI of the House of Representatives conducted a fitness and propriety test (fit and proper test) on 11 March for ten candidates nominated by the government’s selection panel for positions on the OJK Board of Commissioners. Following internal deliberations, Commission XI announced five successful candidates for the board.
“Today, Commission XI has decided on the results of the fitness and propriety test for candidates to the OJK Board of Commissioners for the 2026-2031 period for five positions. Ten candidates sat the test, and five positions have been filled,” stated Commission XI Chair Mukhamad Misbakhun at the House of Representatives building in Jakarta on 11 March.
Commission XI will submit the names of successful candidates to the House leadership for discussion in a plenary session on 12 March.
Friderica “Kiki” Tok, born 28 November 1975, brings extensive experience from Indonesia’s capital markets sector. She served as Director of Development at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) from 2009 to 2015, followed by roles as Finance Director at PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) from 2015 to 2016, and Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2019. She also served as Chief Executive Officer at PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas from 2020 to 2022. Tok holds a doctorate in Leadership and Policy Innovation from Gadjah Mada University, awarded in 2019. She joined the OJK Board as a Commissioner in 2022 after passing the fitness and propriety test, serving as Head of the Executive Division for Supervision of Financial Services Business Conduct, Education and Consumer Protection (PEPK). She also coordinated the Task Force for Eradicating Illegal Financial Activities (SATGAS PASTI) and the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) from 2023. Following Mahendra Siregar’s departure on 30 January, she served as acting Chair before her appointment as Chair on 11 March.
Hernawan holds a bachelor’s degree from Christian University of Indonesia and a master’s degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. His finance career includes roles as Senior Economist for Bank Indonesia’s New York office from 2003 to 2006 and Senior Economic Analyst in the International Department of Bank Indonesia from 2010 to 2013. At OJK, he previously served as Deputy Commissioner for Strategic Management (2016-2017), Senior Advisor/Deputy Commissioner of the Strategic Committee (2017-2020), and Deputy Commissioner for International Affairs and Research (2020-2022). Since 2023, he has been a member of the OJK Supervisory Board and Principal Commissioner of PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia. He has now been appointed Vice Chair of the OJK Board, succeeding Mirza Adityaswara who resigned on 30 January 2026.
Hasan, born 27 April 1970 in Purwakarta, began his career at PT Kliring Depositori Efek Indonesia as Head of System Development Department from 1993 to 1997. He then joined PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) as Head of Information Technology Division from 1997 to 2008. His subsequent positions included Director of PT Penilai Harga Efek Indonesia (PHEI) from 2008 to 2012, Chief Executive Officer of KPEI for two terms (2012-2015 and 2015-2018), and Head of Development at BEI from 2018 to 2022. He also served as Principal Commissioner of PT PEFINDO Credit Bureau (2022-2023), Principal and Independent Commissioner of PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia (2022-2023), and Independent Commissioner of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk from 2023. Hasan holds a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Economics, awarded in 2008. He joined the OJK Board as a Commissioner in 2023 and previously served as Head of the Executive Division for Supervision of Financial Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets and Cryptocurrency (ITSK-IAKD). Following Inarno Djajadi’s resignation on 30 January 2026, he served as acting Head of the Executive Division for Supervision of Capital Markets, Derivative Finance and Carbon Exchange (PMDK). He has now been appointed Head of the PMDK Executive Division permanently.
Dicky, born 19 December 1967 in Jakarta, completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi YAI in 1994 and earned a master’s degree in Project Management from George Washington University in 1999. His career began at Bank Indonesia on 3 April 1995, where he held several positions including Head of the Department of Strategic Management and Governance (2022-2023) and Head of Bank Indonesia’s London office (2020-2022). Since 2 May 2023, he has served as Head of the Department of Policy Analysis at Bank Indonesia.
