Global Healthcare & Medical Tourism Conference 16th edition will be held on March 19-22, 2026 at COEX, Seoul, South Korea.

Seoul, South Korea –(ANTARA/Business Wire)– Medical Korea 2026 is the 16th Global Healthcare & Medical Tourism Conference to be held on March 19-22, 2026 at COEX, Seoul. Organised by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), the conference will bring together leaders in health services, policymakers, and industry experts from around the world to discuss the future of AI-based healthcare and cross-border medical services.

Since its launch in 2010, Medical Korea has provided a platform for global dialogue on innovations in healthcare and medical tourism. This year’s conference, titled “AI-Powered Global Healthcare: Making the Future and the World More Accessible,” focuses on how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping health service delivery, digital transformation, and international medical cooperation.

The programme includes an Opening Ceremony, eight Conference Sessions, Business Meetings, G2G Meetings, an Exhibition, FAM Tours, and the Medical Korea Dinner.

During the Opening Ceremony, keynote speeches will be delivered by Eun-Young Jung, Director General of Health Industry Policy at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Edward Marx, CEO of Marx Advisory. In his keynote entitled “A World of Healthcare Without Borders: How New Technologies Are Impacting Global Health,” Marx will examine how new technologies, including AI, affect the structure, accessibility, and equity of global health systems.

The Conference Sessions will feature more than 40 speakers from home and abroad discussing AI-based healthcare innovations, medical tourism strategies, digital health trends, and advances in AI-enabled health technology.

The Business Meetings will provide structured networking opportunities to attract international patients and facilitate international expansion. The G2G Meetings will facilitate discussions on health care and medical tourism cooperation between governments and relevant organisations.

The Exhibition will be held across three pavilions, highlighting global health collaboration, the competitiveness of Korea’s medical services industry, and the Medical Korea platform, which provides a comprehensive overview of international medical capabilities and partnership opportunities.

The Medical Korea Dinner on 19 March will be a networking event for global health leaders. It will also feature the first Global Medical Advertising Awards Ceremony and the Medical Charity Programme Celebration.

According to Andy Hong, Director of Global Inbound Health Care Business, KHIDI, “Medical Korea 2026 will unite global leaders and experts to discuss the latest trends and key issues in AI-based healthcare. Through AI-powered innovation, the conference aims to strengthen global cooperation and bring the future of health care closer.”
