Medela Potentia Subsidiary Partners with Hisamitsu to Expand Business in Cambodia

Jakarta, VIVA – PT Medela Potentia Tbk, through its subsidiary Dynamic Argon Co., Ltd. (DAC), is strengthening its position as a trusted healthcare distribution partner in Cambodia. This is achieved via a strategic collaboration with Japan’s Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., marked by the official launch of Salonpas Pain Relief Patch and Salonsip Gel-Patch in the country.

Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., globally recognised under the Salonpas brand, stated that the launch demonstrates the company’s commitment to improving public quality of life through innovative Japanese pharmaceutical health products.

“The products feature advanced formulations and transdermal drug delivery technology, providing effective pain relief while minimising common side effects associated with oral painkillers,” said Hiramatsu Taro, Head of International Division at Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., in a statement on Monday, 25 May 2026.

The ceremonial event took place in Phnom Penh on 16 May 2026, attended by representatives from Cambodia’s Ministry of Health, the Japanese Embassy in Cambodia, healthcare professionals, business partners, and executives from Hisamitsu, Dynamic Group, and Dynamic Argon.

Representing Cambodia’s Ministry of Health were H.E. Peas Muslim, MD, Under Secretary of State of Health; and H.E. Mey Bunrong, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Advisor to the Second Vice President of the National Assembly. Also in attendance were H.E. Mr. Ueno Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, along with other Japanese Embassy officials.

In his remarks, the Cambodian Ministry of Health representative highlighted growing public awareness of health and the importance of access to safe, high-quality, and user-friendly self-care solutions. The collaboration marks a significant milestone for Dynamic Argon as a trusted healthcare distributor for multinational companies operating in Cambodia.
