The Muhammadiyah Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubator (MCEBI) is encouraging student entrepreneur products to expand market access through Pekan Halal Indonesia 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Jakarta. A number of student tenant products, winners of the Studentpreneur Bootcamp 2025 and 2026, are being marketed to visitors to strengthen the commercialisation of businesses incubated by higher education institutions.

At the MCEBI pavilion, visitors can view young entrepreneur products from various sectors, ranging from food and beverage based on local commodities to personal care products. Products on display include Honna Snack, honey banana chips from Lebak, Mabento Sambel Nusantara, Ubite’s purple sweet potato risoles, Moi Cookies, and Naraya Bodycare, which promotes a green and environmentally friendly concept.

MCEBI Chairwoman Endang Rudiatin explained that participation in Pekan Halal Indonesia 2026 provides an opportunity for incubated products to receive direct market response. According to her, the student entrepreneurship development process needs to be followed by opening access to consumers and business networks.

“At Pekan Halal Indonesia 2026, we are proud to showcase champion tenant products that are not only creative in concept but have also met quality standards and obtained official halal certification,” Endang told reporters on Saturday (29/8/2026).

Endang believes that products developed by students have the opportunity to grow if supported by market access and strengthened product standards. She is optimistic that these products can expand their market to national and global levels.

“From local food innovation to natural ingredient-based care, these student works prove that campus research is ready to compete commercially in national and global markets,” said Endang.

According to Endang, MCEBI is using the momentum of Pekan Halal Indonesia 2026 to expand business opportunities for tenants through three focus areas. First, market validation by bringing student products directly to consumers. Second, opening cooperation opportunities in supply chains and modern retail distribution networks. Third, strengthening halal standard compliance, which is an important factor in developing the student product market. “As well as strengthening halal standards as the third pillar,” said Endang.

The products on display are the result of the Studentpreneur Bootcamp that took place throughout the 2025 to 2026 period. The programme serves as a platform for developing student entrepreneurship within Muhammadiyah ’Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA), with products that have undergone business mentoring and development processes.

MCEBI is a business incubation centre within PTMA that focuses on creating young entrepreneurs, assisting with halal certification, and developing the campus entrepreneurship ecosystem.
