MBZ Elevated Toll Access Implements Open-Close System

PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (PT JJC) is implementing a situational open-close system for the entry access to the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed elevated toll road towards Cikampek, at the discretion of the police, on Sunday (22/3). “The open-close of that entry access was carried out on Sunday starting from 09:10 WIB as a result of the traffic density occurring at the junction point between the MBZ elevated road section and the existing Jakarta-Cikampek section,” said the GM of Operations and Maintenance of PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek, Desti Anggraeni, in her statement. “This policy is taken to reduce congestion and maintain traffic smoothness and safety,” she added. Desti conveyed that PT JJC, together with the police, continues to monitor and regulate traffic situationally. “The entry access will be reopened once traffic conditions return to normal and under control,” she said. Furthermore, PT JJC also urges road users passing through the MBZ Elevated Road section to always prioritise safety.
