MBG Partners Hope New BGN Leadership Resolves Communication Hurdles in West Java

Thousands of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) partners in West Java had experienced stalled communication with the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), leaving a number of operational issues at kitchens unresolved. Chairman of the West Java Regional Leadership Council of the Nutritious Meal Entrepreneurs Association (Gapembi), Heri Ukasah, stated that the main obstacle hindering the programme’s implementation in the region was the communication breakdown with BGN. However, he noted that under the leadership of Sudaryono, communication has now become smooth and open. “The aspiration from the regions was essentially about the stalled communication with BGN. I am optimistic that under his leadership, which has only been two days and he has already started receiving several associations,” he said during a consolidation meeting at Horison Hotel in Bandung on Sunday (26/7/2026). He added that lines of communication with BGN are now intensifying and open, with various aspirations and hopes regarding the programme’s execution already conveyed. Heri reiterated the association’s full commitment to supporting BGN Chief Sudaryono’s leadership, hoping it will unravel existing problems and ensure the successful implementation of the MBG programme.
