MBG Distribution Resumes, National Nutrition Agency Assures Improved Service Quality
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has assured that the service quality of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme continues to improve as distribution resumes for beneficiaries following the school holidays.
Deputy Head of BGN Agustina Arumsari explained that the school holiday break was used by the agency to reorganise and refine the programme in order to improve service quality for all beneficiaries.
“We want to ensure that MBG distribution is running well again after the adjustment period. The various improvements that have been made are expected to raise service quality so that the programme’s benefits can be optimally felt by all recipients,” Arumsari said in Jakarta on Monday.

All the input and monitoring results from today will serve as material for continuous evaluation and improvement so that the MBG programme is implemented ever more effectively, in an orderly manner, and delivers the best service to beneficiaries,” she said.
During the adjustment period, BGN has undertaken various corrective steps to improve the effectiveness and service quality of the MBG programme, including strengthening governance and refining operational aspects so that implementation is increasingly optimal.
BGN emphasised that all these improvement efforts form part of its commitment to continually raising the quality of the MBG programme whilst ensuring every beneficiary receives nutritious meals that are safe, of good quality, and in line with established standards.
