MBG Corruption Suspect Glory Harimas Sold SPPG for Rp100 Million per Point, Paid Rp20 Million to Dadan

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejakgung) has named Glory Harimas Sihombing, chairman of the Indonesia Food Security Review foundation, as the sixth suspect in the corruption case surrounding the free nutritious meal (MBG) programme. Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that Glory sold Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) units to partners for a minimum of Rp100 million per location. From these sales, Glory made regular payments to former National Nutrition Agency (BGN) head Dadan Hindayana starting in 2025, with individual payments exceeding Rp20 million and averaging around Rp100 million.

Syarief explained that Glory is a private party who was asked by suspect Dadan Hindayana, the former BGN head, to seek partners for the implementation of the free nutritious meal programme. Dadan provided Glory with access to information regarding SPPG kitchen locations and BGN partners who established kitchens to produce and distribute meals to beneficiary students. Under the established rules, the establishment of SPPGs required verification from BGN and had to originate from foundations at the beneficiary schools. However, after Glory’s foundation secured these kitchen points, it sold them to other parties wishing to set up MBG kitchens in those designated areas.
