Mazda Indonesia has announced it will launch three new models at the upcoming Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), the brand’s agent in the country, described the event as a crucial moment for the Japanese manufacturer. “This is a very important momentum for us at Mazda Indonesia, especially at GIIAS, we will launch three products,” said Viya Arsawireja, General Manager of Marketing and Communication at PT EMI, during a media gathering in Jakarta on Wednesday.

While the company has not yet disclosed the specific models, a presentation hinted at the lineup, which includes an all-new electric vehicle. The Mazda 6e, known as the EZ-6 in the Chinese market, is the brand’s latest electric car and boasts a range of up to 600 kilometres on a single charge based on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC). The presentation also mentioned Mazda’s first Indonesia-assembled SUV and a new edition of its best-selling SUV, likely the CX-5, which has long been a backbone of the company’s sales in the country.

Chief Operating Officer Ricky Thio confirmed that two of the three new models are SUVs, while the third remains a secret. Mazda Indonesia is setting an ambitious target of securing 1,500 vehicle orders during the 11-day automotive exhibition, which will take place from 30 July to 9 August 2026 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten.
