Mazda Launches Three New Models at GIIAS, Including the Electric 6e
PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, the brand holder for Mazda in Indonesia, launched three new models at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 in ICE BSD, Tangerang, on Wednesday. The new vehicles are the All-New Mazda CX-5, the New Mazda CX-30, which is now locally assembled (CKD), and the all-electric fastback, the All-New Mazda 6e. On-the-road (OTR) prices in Jakarta start from Rp499 million for the Mazda CX-30, Rp599 million for the Mazda CX-5 Sport Edition, and Rp850 million for the Mazda 6e Fastback. The triple launch occurred a day after Mazda inaugurated its first assembly plant in Citeureup, West Java, as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen investment and operations in Indonesia. Mazda explained that the latest generation CX-5 is a global SUV featuring an evolution of the KODO design language while retaining the Jinba-Ittai driving philosophy. Meanwhile, the CX-30 becomes the first Mazda model assembled in Indonesia, adopting the company’s global manufacturing standards, which allows it to be offered at a more competitive price. The Mazda 6e Fastback is the company’s newest electric vehicle for the Indonesian market, following the MX-30 EV, and marks a step into the electrification era. The model is also the recipient of the 2026 World Car Design of the Year award. ‘Mazda does not just present vehicles, but also experiences that enrich life through captivating design, human-centric technology, and Japanese craftsmanship,’ said Ricky. The launch of the three models is part of Mazda’s long-term commitment to strengthening its presence in the Indonesian market through investment, manufacturing development, and portfolio expansion.
