Mazda Introduces Three Modified Car Models with AutoExe at GIIAS 2026
Tangerang (ANTARA) - Entering the third year of collaboration between PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), the Mazda brand holder in Indonesia, and AutoExe—a Japanese performance component brand specialising in Mazda vehicles—the company has presented several new AutoExe products. The products introduced at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GII and GIIAS) on Thursday (30/7) are the Mazda MX-5 AutoExe Limited Edition, the Mazda CX-60 ACTIVE XROSS, and two styling concepts for The All-New Mazda CX-5.
Igor Panjaitan, Director of Customer Service at PT EMI, stated that every Mazda owner possesses a different character and driving style, prompting the company to offer personalisation options that do not strip away the vehicle’s original essence. “Every Mazda owner has a different character and driving style. Some choose to keep their cars original, while others wish to add a personal touch without losing the Mazda DNA itself. We want to provide that choice to customers, not merely to make the vehicle look sportier, but to present an even more enjoyable driving experience and strengthen the connection between the driver and the car,” said Igor during GIIAS at ICE BSD, Tangerang, on Thursday.
Mazda explained that AutoExe adopts an approach focused on refining the vehicle’s natural character by improving steering response, stability, chassis feedback, and the auditory quality experienced by the driver during daily use. This approach differs from conventional modifications that focus primarily on increasing engine power; instead, it maintains the vehicle’s original character in alignment with Mazda’s Jinba-Ittai philosophy.
Since Mazda Indonesia became an official partner and distributor for AutoExe in 2024, customers have been able to access the AutoExe One-Stop Solution through the official Mazda dealer network. This service includes product consultation, purchasing, installation by certified technicians, as well as after-sales service and warranty claims according to Mazda quality standards.
At GIIAS 2026, Mazda showcased the MX-5 AutoExe Limited Edition, offered in limited quantities during the exhibition in Snowflake White Pearl Mica and Aero Gray Metallic. This model combines genuine Mazda accessories with AutoExe components, such as Mazda x RECARBO Seats, BBS Forged Alloy Wheels, and a Brembo Brake Kit, alongside various performance components developed based on the Kansei Tuning philosophy to enhance response, vehicle communication with the driver, and driving comfort.
Additionally, Mazda introduced the CX-60 ACTIVE XROSS, which adopts a premium outdoor styling concept, offering a tougher appearance without losing the elegant character of the premium Mazda SUV. For The All-New Mazda CX-5, AutoExe offers two styling concepts: Street Sports, which emphasises a sporty and premium character, and ACTIVE XROSS, which draws inspiration from an outdoor lifestyle, providing personalisation options according to the owner’s preference.
