Mazda Inaugurates First Dealer and Training Centre in Indonesia
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), as Mazda’s sole brand holder agent (ATPM) in Indonesia, inaugurated Mazda PIK 2 and the Mazda Indonesia Training Centre on 8 April 2026, in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area.
This inauguration is part of Mazda’s strategic steps to strengthen its network while building human resource capabilities as a foundation for long-term growth in Indonesia.
The PIK 2 area was selected because it is seen as having potential as a centre for developing lifestyle and business activities. Mazda views this location as a key point in expanding its market reach in Indonesia.
The dealership is built on a 1,470-square-metre plot with a three-storey building. Various facilities have been prepared to support the customer experience, from the showroom and service area to comfortable waiting rooms.
First Training Centre in Indonesia
In the same location, Mazda also introduced the Mazda Indonesia Training Centre, which becomes the first training facility in the country.
Located on the fourth floor with an area of around 704 square metres, this facility can accommodate more than 100 participants at one time.
The training programmes provided cover product knowledge, technical training for technicians and service advisors, sales skills and customer handling, as well as leadership development.
This facility is also supported by a standardised curriculum and instructors certified by Mazda Motor Corporation to ensure consistent competency quality across the entire dealer network.
In addition, the Mazda Indonesia Training Centre is equipped with various themed rooms such as Hiroshima Hall as the main room, Hikari Hall for idea exchange, and the Kodo Meeting Room inspired by Mazda’s design philosophy.
There is also the Monozukuri Corner for vehicle technology learning, the Omotenashi Room focused on customer service, and the Hitozukuri Room emphasising human resource development.
Herbert Kwee, CEO of Eurokars Group Indonesia, emphasised that the inauguration of both facilities is part of the company’s planned strategy.
“We have introduced Mazda’s new Headquarters in Indonesia, and today we are inaugurating the Mazda Indonesia Training Centre. Moving forward, we also support various other strategic initiatives. These are planned steps to build a stronger foundation and support sustainable business growth,” said Herbert Kwee on Thursday (9 April 2026).
Meanwhile, Hiroshi Shiba emphasised that network development and investment in human resources are two main pillars in Mazda’s growth.
