Mayora gets an 'A' rating
JAKARTA (JP): PT Mayora Indah, the largest biscuit, candy, chocolate and coffee producer in the country, was given an "A" credit rating from Indonesian rating agency Pefindo.
The publicly listed company said here yesterday that the "A" rating was the highest given by Pefindo to Indonesian private companies.
Only two other companies -- state-owned Bank Tabungan Negara, and state-owned electricity firm PLN -- had been given "A" ratings before.
Mayora said Pefindo based its "A" rating on two main aspects, namely business and financial risks. (bnt)
