Mayor Agustina Renews 10 Trans Semarang Fleet Units
Semarang Mayor Agustina Wilujeng continues to strengthen her commitment to improving the quality of comfortable and environmentally friendly public transportation for the community. Agustina emphasised that enhancing services includes renewing the Trans Semarang bus fleet in Corridor 4.
“We are committed to continuously improving public transportation services that are comfortable and environmentally friendly for Semarang residents,” said Agustina.
As part of the renewal, 10 bus units have been procured to support operations in that corridor. The fleet is produced by New Armada, known for its quality and modern design. Currently, the buses are in the delivery process before undergoing operational fitness tests.
“The bus units are currently in the delivery process and will undergo fitness tests to ensure safety, comfort, and operational readiness,” she stated.
These technical tests are an important stage before the fleet is officially operated to serve the public. According to Agustina, this fleet renewal is expected to improve the overall quality of Trans Semarang services.
“With this fleet renewal, we hope the services will be even more optimal and the community will be more comfortable using public transportation,” she said.
She also emphasised that she will continue to develop an integrated and sustainable public transportation system as part of efforts to create better urban mobility.
“We will continue to develop public transportation to make it more integrated and support a better environment,” Agustina remarked.
Corridor 4 serves the route from Terminal Cangkiran - Karangayu - Imam Bonjol - Halte Pemuda (Balaikota) - Halte Simpang Lima - Stasiun Tawang (return).
