Maximising Public Services, Hundreds of East Jakarta City Government ASN Participate in Free Health Check

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Around 350 civil servants (ASN) from the East Jakarta City Government Administration (Pemkot Jaktim) participated in the Free Health Check (CKG) to maximise public services.

“This is to thoroughly understand our health conditions, which need to be maintained because we are public servants and our performance depends on it. Approximately 300-350 ASN participated in the CKG,” said the Secretary of the City (Sekko) of East Jakarta, Eka Darmawan, at the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office on Monday.

This free health check was attended by Civil Servants (ASN) and Government Employees with Contract Agreements (PPPK).

According to Eka, the CKG is very important for early health detection to carry out work in their respective fields, especially in serving the public more effectively.

The CKG conducted includes laboratory examinations such as blood sugar checks, cholesterol, uric acid, general practitioner examinations, dental examinations, and eye examinations.

This activity was initiated by the health services of the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office.

“This health check is important, starting from blood sugar checks to dental and eye examinations,” Eka stated.

The free health check in the East Jakarta City Government environment begins with filling out an attendance list, registration with queue numbers, and physical examinations.

Then, checking height and weight, laboratory tests, data input, dental checks, eye checks, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, and other general health aspects.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had started CKG in schools in Jakarta at the beginning of this academic year, beginning at Sekolah Rakyat Sentra Handayani, Cipayung, on 9 July 2025.

Then at Sekolah Rakyat Sentra Mulya Jaya, Cipayung, and the Professional Education, Training, and Development Centre (Pusdiklatbangprof) Margaguna, Cilandak, on 14 July 2025.
