Maxim Now Serves Transportation in 400 Cities in Indonesia
JAKARTA - Ride-hailing company Maxim has recorded the presence of its services in 400 cities in Indonesia. This demonstrates that the development of on-demand transportation services is increasingly growing in the domestic digital market. “This achievement positions Maxim as one of the fastest-growing mobile app-based technology companies in Indonesia over the last five years,” said Maxim Indonesia Development Director Dirhamsyah in an official statement on Friday (27/3/2026). At the start of its presence, Maxim provided motorcycle (Bike), car (Car), and delivery services. Currently, the services available in the Maxim app offer more than sixteen options that can be tailored to each user’s needs. The expansion of Maxim’s service reach is carried out by introducing operations in various regions, including areas with continuously developing transportation needs. The growth in the number of cities is also supported through the “Business with Maxim” programme, which allows business actors to bring services to their respective areas. Currently, more than 250 business partners are involved in developing services in various regions. “It is a pride for us to have surpassed the 400-city mark,” said Dirhamsyah. In its operations, the Maxim app is equipped with several safety features, such as “Share Ride”, and an “SOS Button” system for communication between drivers and passengers. “We believe that business growth must go hand in hand with improvements in service quality and reliable protection for partners and users,” added Dirhamsyah. The 400th city for Maxim is Juwana, Central Java. This addition aligns with the increasing needs of the community for mobility services in various areas.
