Maulid Nabi: The Full Message of Mojtaba Khamenei Amidst Difficult Times Fighting US-Israel

Tehran — The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, has condemned the criminal rulers of the United States (US) and the illegitimate Zionist regime as sworn enemies of the unity and friendship of the Islamic Ummah.

Ayatollah Agung Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei released this message on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Messenger of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and the Islamic Unity Week, on 30 August 2026.

The full translation of the message is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Those who are with him are fierce against the unbelievers, but merciful among themselves” (Al-Quran 48:29).

I extend my congratulations to the noble Iranian nation and the great Islamic Ummah on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of the Great Figure, the Most Noble Creature, the Bright Lamp, the Chosen of Allah, the City of Knowledge, a Mercy to the Worlds, the Honourable Messenger of Islam (SAW), as well as the blessed birth anniversary of his holy and virtuous son, the Manifest Proof of Allah, Imam Ja’far Shadiq (AS).

Since the sun of the existence of the Final Prophet rose in the Holy City of Makkah, the horizon of human salvation—which relies on the perfection of servitude and obedience to the Most High and Almighty—has regained its brilliance. The souls of the prophets, the angels of Allah, and the holy ones were immersed in joy, while the devils among mankind and jinn bit their fingers in anger, regret, and grief. This is because Allah’s greatest creation across countless realms of existence has set foot upon the earth, one who will soon don the prophetic mantle and the mantle of the prophets. Holding the magnificent Quran and carrying the mission of comprehensive guidance for humanity, he will direct the movement of the great caravan of mankind towards devotion to Allah and spiritual perfection on the journey to Him.

The life of the Prophet and the lives of his infallible successors are entirely lessons in guidance and devotion; lessons in spiritual understanding and compassion; lessons in faith and jihad; lessons in ways of life and individual and social ethics; lessons in trustworthiness and honesty; lessons in honour and dignity; lessons in knowledge and action; lessons in mercy and firmness; lessons in justice and wisdom; and lessons in unity and brotherhood. The better these lessons are studied and practised, the higher the peaks of prosperity and happiness can be achieved by all of humanity. We believe that the holy soul of the Prophet of Mercy, as well as the holy souls of his infallible successors and the Infallible Proofs of Allah (saw), are constantly watching, guiding, and showing compassion towards the situation of Muslims and the Islamic community. Whenever a mistake is made by the children of this loving and noble father, his soul feels sorrow. And whenever the Islamic Ummah acts in accordance with his lessons and guidance, his blessed heart rejoices.
