The incident during a recent plenary session of the House of
Representatives (DPR), when lawmakers brawled over the
government's fuel price policy, was unnecessary.

The people's representatives should show maturity in
practicing democracy and set a good example for the nation's
younger people.

This country has experienced various hiccups in the
democratization process and also has suffered natural disasters,
so legislators should not create more trouble.

As delegates elected by the people, members of the DPR should
help improve the nation and its global standing.
