Mataram Methamphetamine Dealer Still Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison via Supreme Court Review
Mataram (ANTARA) - A methamphetamine dealer from Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara, Ni Nyoman Juliandari alias Mandari, has been sentenced to seven years in prison based on the Supreme Court’s review decision Number 1369 PK/Pid.Sus/2026.
Spokesperson for the Mataram District Court, Kelik Trimargo, in Mataram on Wednesday, stated that they have not yet received official information regarding the review decision.
“It has not yet appeared in the SIPP PN Mataram (Mataram District Court Case Tracking Information System),” he said.
Nevertheless, the decision information is listed on the official Info Perkara website of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia. As of 17 April 2026, the case has been decided and is currently in the process of minutiation by the panel of judges.
The review panel was led by Supreme Court Justice Hidayat Manao, with members Noor Edy Yono and Suradi from the Supreme Court.
The outcome declared Mandari guilty of violating Article 114 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, with a prison sentence of seven years.
On the same page, the Supreme Court also listed the decision regarding Mandari’s husband, I Gede Bayu Pratama, in the same review case. The panel upheld the four-year prison sentence as per the cassation decision.
In response to the information, Kelik emphasised that they are still awaiting the official copy of the decision from the Supreme Court.
At the cassation level, the Supreme Court overturned the first-instance court decision and declared both guilty as methamphetamine dealers in the Abian Tubuh area, Mataram City. The judges then imposed a seven-year sentence on Mandari and four years on her husband.
The case was uncovered through the development of the arrest of a courier named Rana alias Agung, who was caught carrying 1.9 grams of methamphetamine and Rp16.9 million in cash.
The couple was subsequently arrested in the Kuta Mandalika area, Central Lombok Regency, while preparing to depart for Bali via sea route.
For their actions, Mandari and her husband were charged under Article 132 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 114 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, related to conspiracy in narcotics distribution.
