Mataram Health Office Ready to Assist MBG Kitchens in Obtaining Hygiene Certificates

The Mataram City Health Office (Dinkes) is open to assisting Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) meal preparation units (SPPG) that require help, particularly regarding the ownership of a hygiene sanitation eligibility certificate (SLHS). Head of Dinkes Mataram Emirald Isfihan stated on Friday that the office is very receptive and will even facilitate education and training for those who do not yet understand the process. Regarding the eight SPPG MBG units that have not yet resumed operations, Dinkes has so far not received reports on the specific causes beyond the SLHS issue. Many of the temporarily suspended SPPG units are currently processing their SLHS applications, and the office is prepared to assist them until they meet the established standards. Emirald noted he was unclear whether the SLHS applications were new or from those affected by the temporary suspension, which is why some remain non-operational. He added that to support the government programme and ensure the quality of food distributed to students, Dinkes is ready to facilitate training, but this will be done according to the waiting list. This condition is purely due to the limited supervisory capacity the office has. Meanwhile, Mataram MBG Task Force member Lalu Martawang said the MBG regional coordinator has been asked to consult and identify the causes regarding the eight closed SPPG units. He emphasised the need to ascertain the specific context of the closures, whether due to factor A, B, or C, so that recommendations issued by the relevant regional apparatus organisations can be accounted for and do not potentially cause future problems.
