The Mataram City Environment Agency (DLH) has proposed an additional fuel budget of Rp 7 billion for the operation of waste transport vehicles. The proposal was submitted through the revised regional budget (APBD Perubahan).

Head of DLH Mataram, Nizar Denny Cahyadi, explained that the proposed additional fuel budget of Rp 7 billion is based on calculations adjusted to the latest price of Dexlite. The current price of Dexlite is around Rp 24,000 per litre.

“We submitted this in the revised budget in line with the previous price, around Rp 24,000. If the price later falls, it can become SiLPA (excess budget financing),” said Denny on Tuesday (25/8/2026).

Denny stated that the additional Rp 7 billion is projected to cover the fuel needs for waste transport vehicle operations for four months, from September to December. When combined with the original regional budget allocation of Rp 20 billion, the total fuel allocation for operations this year becomes Rp 27 billion.

“The Rp 7 billion is not only for waste, but also for landscaping, such as plant watering trucks and other operations,” he added.

It is known that PT Pertamina (Persero) has raised the prices of several non-subsidised fuel products since April 2026. The price increases apply to Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex. Meanwhile, other non-subsidised fuels, namely Pertamax and Pertamax Green, have not changed in price.
