Mataram City Tax Revenue Realisation Reaches Rp 69.119 Billion by April 2026
The tax revenue realisation for the Mataram City Government (Pemkot) up to April 2026 stands at Rp 69.119 billion. This figure equates to 22.21% of the 2026 tax revenue target of Rp 311.548 billion.
“In one quarter, our ideal target is 25%, but the current figure of 22.21% remains within a reasonable trend, so there is no need for concern,” stated Ahmad Amrin, Head of the Service, Outreach, and Collection Division at the Mataram Regional Financial Agency (BKD), when contacted on Monday (6/4/2026).
Amrin is optimistic that tax payments from Mataram residents in March 2026 will exceed the quarterly target set by BKD Mataram. This is because the deadline for March tax payments is 15 April.
Mataram City Government’s tax revenue comes from 13 types of local taxes. From these, BKD Mataram records four tax objects with the highest realisations, one of which is motor vehicle tax (PKB) at Rp 4.421 billion out of a target of Rp 67.296 billion.
This is followed by street lighting tax at Rp 13.266 billion out of a target of Rp 48 billion, restaurant tax at Rp 11.285 billion out of a target of Rp 44 billion, and land and building acquisition duty (BPHTB) at Rp 10.314 billion out of a target of Rp 44 billion.
“The realisations for the other nine types of taxes are still below two digits, and some are even below one digit,” said Amrin.
On the other hand, Amrin expressed confidence that this year’s tax revenue target can be achieved. To boost realisations, BKD Mataram is currently updating land and building tax (PBB) data.
“Since the beginning of the year, in January and February, we have already started moving to update PBB data. Currently, our focus is expanding into the restaurant sector, which has shown very positive growth,” explained Amrin.
