Masthai Run to promote SEA Games

KOTA BAHARU, Malaysia (Bernama): The Masthai International Run
2001 will be held on April 13 as part of programs to promote the
Kuala Lumpur SEA Games 2001 to be held in September.

Kelantan Amateur Athletics Union (POAK) chairman Tan Sri
Hussein Ahmad said the run, which will also involve Thailand,
would create greater interest in the Games among the people of
both countries.

"Every brochure and form distributed by POAK carries the
slogan 'Road to SEA Games 2001' printed on them," he told
reporters on Tuesday.
