Massive Tyre Blowouts on Jagorawi Toll Road: Jasa Marga's Response

JAKARTA - A mass tyre blowout incident occurred on the Jagorawi toll road. Several vehicles were reported to have experienced tyre punctures while passing through on Thursday afternoon (30/4/2026). The mass tyre blowout incident was said to have only occurred on the Jagorawi toll road towards Bogor. Meanwhile, the opposite direction was reported to be safe with no anomalies. “Officers from Representative Office 1 of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, along with Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) and Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM), immediately conducted an on-site inspection to identify the cause of the tyre bursts affecting several road users,” said Alvin in his official statement. “As an initial step, JMTM officers have carried out temporary patching on the damaged pavement points and coordinated with the police to clean the toll road area around the incident site to anticipate any nails or sharp objects that may have fallen from users’ vehicles and could potentially damage other users’ tyres,” Alvin added. “Jasa Marga expresses thanks for all input, suggestions, and reports from road users, and remains committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of road users while traversing Jasa Marga toll roads,” he stated.
