Jakarta — A massive share transaction was recorded on AMRT (PT Sumber Alfaria Tirtajaya Tbk), operator of Alfamart and Alfamidi convenience store chains, during the first trading session on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.

The transaction involved the transfer of 25.6 million share lots at an average price of Rp1,420, occurring on the negotiated market with a total value of Rp3.6 trillion.

Following the transaction, AMRT share price remained stable at Rp1,420 per share at the close of the first trading session. The company’s market capitalisation reached Rp58.96 trillion.

At the time of writing, the parties involved in the massive AMRT share transaction remained unidentified. However, large transactions on the negotiated market are often associated with ownership transfers amongst major investors or institutional portfolio restructuring.

AMRT’s latest public disclosure related to a share buyback programme report executed between 8 December 2025 and 6 March 2026, targeting a buyback value of Rp1.5 trillion. Upon completion of the buyback period, AMRT reported having repurchased 432.66 million shares utilising Rp812.46 billion.

AMRT is ultimately owned by Djoko Susanto, who controls the company through PT Sigmantara Alfindo with a 50.19% stake.
