JAKARTA — Robert Del Naja of the music group Massive Attack has contributed several songs and remixes to the soundtrack album for Life Support, a documentary about Gaza. The album features three original tracks by Del Naja: “Explosives of the Future”, “Perfect Victims” and “House of Healing”.

The soundtrack also includes “Resistance in the Dark” by the Five Techniques collective, whose members include Paul Weller, David Holmes and Roisim El Cherif. It also features a remix of Kneecap’s “Palestine”, with Fawzi.

A statement said proceeds from album sales would be donated to Palestine. “All profits from sales of the album on vinyl will go to the Health Workers 4 Palestine solidarity fund,” it said, according to Pitchfork on Friday (30 October 2026).

Alongside Del Naja and Kneecap, other artists have contributed to the album, including Yasmine Hamdan, Habib Shehada Hanna, Massar Egbari, 47Soul, Siba and Monkyman. The documentary Life Support presents testimonies and footage from international doctors who were granted permission to enter Gaza. It documents medical workers’ experiences during two years of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, Palestine.

The film’s synopsis says the doctors’ first-hand accounts and footage provide an important record of healthcare workers’ efforts amid hospitals destroyed by bombing, dwindling medical supplies, hunger and a continuing influx of wounded people. Most of the patients they treated were women and children.

Life Support is now available on video-on-demand services. Dozens of screenings are also scheduled, mainly in the UK and Ireland, with some followed by question-and-answer sessions with the filmmakers.

Massive Attack is known for speaking out in support of Palestine. In April 2026, the group’s frontman, Robert Del Naja, was arrested during a pro-Palestinian protest in Trafalgar Square in central London. He was among more than 200 people detained at the demonstration.
