Masseur in Bogor Becomes Robbery Victim, Motorcyclist Kicked Until He Falls

A massage therapist, identified by the initials AS (51), has fallen victim to a robbery on Jalan Raya ATS, Rancabungur, Bogor Regency, West Java. The victim’s motorcycle was stolen by the perpetrators.

“An alleged criminal act of motorcycle robbery, in accordance with Article 482 of the Criminal Code, was carried out by two unknown individuals, currently under investigation,” stated the Rancabungur Police Chief, Ipda Yudhi Widhiana, on Thursday (11/06/2026).

Yudhi stated that the incident occurred this morning while the victim was travelling home after meeting a client. The victim was cornered and kicked by the perpetrators, causing him to fall.

“Upon arriving at the crime scene on the said road, two unknown individuals suddenly cornered and kicked the victim, causing him to fall. One of the unknown individuals then took the vehicle used by the victim and fled towards Rancabungur,” he said.

Yudhi noted that the police have inspected the crime scene and met with the victim at his residence. According to him, the victim is not yet willing to file a formal report. However, the police are continuing to investigate the incident.

“The victim does not wish to file a report today, citing leg injuries and stating that the matter with the vehicle owner has been settled privately. The victim sustained an injury to his big toe,” he said.

“Regardless of the victim’s refusal to file a report, the police will proceed with a Model A report, where the officers themselves file the official report,” he added.
