The Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Major General (Ret.) Trenggono, has revealed that severe suspension sanctions will be imposed and the head of the Sukorejo 2 Nutrition Service Unit (SPPG) will be removed. This decision follows an alleged mass food poisoning incident involving hundreds of students in Blora Regency, Central Java.

Trenggono conducted a visit to SPPG Sukorejo 2 in Tunjungan District on Friday (11/09/202/6). Following the inspection, he stated that many standard operating procedures (SOP) were not being followed by the unit.

“Therefore, the kitchen responsible for preparing the affected menu must face firm action. We will impose a heavy suspension. From what I have seen, the kitchen is highly substandard, and many SOPs were not implemented,” said Trenggono.

He added that the BGN will also remove the head of SPPG Sukorejo 2. “The head of the kitchen will clearly be dismissed because they also failed to perform their duties properly and did not comply with the SOP,” he noted.

Trenggono subsequently expressed his appreciation to the Blora Regency Government for its swift handling of the alleged food poisoning case. “At this time, almost everyone has returned to health. Today, only three remain in the hospital, and all three are beginning to improve,” he said.

A video showing the condition of SPPG Sukorejo 2 in Blora Regency has gone viral on social media. The 28-second video, which has been widely circulated, provides a brief glimpse into the state of the facility.
