JAKARTA – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk reported that 650,213 vehicles departed the Greater Jakarta region during the H-10 to H-7 period before the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Rivan A. Purwantono, stated that 297,893 vehicles travelled eastbound through the Cikampek Utama and Kalihurip Utama toll gates until Saturday, 14 March 2026 evening.

“During the H-10 to H-7 period before the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 1447 Hijriah, 650,213 vehicles were recorded leaving the Greater Jakarta area. This figure represents a 7.1 per cent increase compared to normal traffic conditions,” Rivan said in an official statement on Sunday, 15 March 2026.

In total, vehicles heading towards the Trans Java route and Bandung reached 297,893 units, representing a 17 per cent increase from normal traffic conditions.

For vehicles travelling on the Trans Java route through the Cikampek Utama toll gate, 168,863 units were recorded, representing a 4.7 per cent increase from normal traffic levels.

Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Bandung through the Kalihurip Utama toll gate recorded 129,030 units, representing a 4.7 per cent decrease compared to normal traffic conditions.

Vehicles heading westbound to Merak through the Cikupa toll gate recorded 210,397 units, representing a 5.3 per cent increase from normal traffic levels.

Vehicles heading southbound to the Puncak area through the Ciawi toll gate recorded 141,923 units, representing a 7.2 per cent decrease compared to normal traffic conditions.

“This traffic distribution demonstrates that the Trans Java route remains the primary corridor for people undertaking the mudik journey to various regions across Java Island,” he said.
