Mecca (ANTARA) - The managers of Masjidil Haram and Masjid Nabawi in Saudi Arabia officially announced the operational plan for Hajj services in 2026 on Wednesday, encompassing various enrichment initiatives and multilingual services.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at Masjidil Haram and Masjid Nabawi, launched the operational plan during a ceremony in Mecca.

The plan aims to enhance the Hajj experience for pilgrims and broadcast messages from the two holy mosques to the global community through 150 enrichment initiatives, 10 enrichment pathways, and religious services in 60 languages.

Al-Sudais stated that the 150 initiatives included in the plan are intended to improve the quality of religious services for Hajj pilgrims.

Artificial intelligence (AI) features have been integrated into the operational plan, he said, marking a qualitative shift in the development of religious services in Saudi Arabia.

This aligns with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026 and is expected to enhance the Hajj experience.

Al-Sudais noted that the plan will expand global reach with 60 languages through advanced digital systems and modern technology to serve Hajj pilgrims and disseminate messages of moderation from the two holiest mosques worldwide.

The operational plan is formulated based on religious principles and a solid methodology, aiming through integrated programmes to enrich the spiritual and educational experience of Hajj pilgrims.

He said these developments reflect the efforts of Saudi Arabia’s leadership to improve services for Hajj pilgrims.

With the initiatives and multilingual services offered, the operational plan represents a comprehensive framework designed to enhance pilgrims’ experiences and strengthen the global message of Masjidil Haram and Masjid Nabawi.
