Marwah Wedding Organiser in Cakung Faces Complaints After Six Months of Operation

Marwah Wedding Organiser in Cakung, East Jakarta, has been operating for approximately six months since its December 2025 launch. This is based on the account of a local resident and employee of a nearby company, Anto (53). “It’s only been about six months. We rarely interact with the WO staff as they keep changing. The employees are constantly being replaced,” Anto said when interviewed at the Jakarta Garden City (JGC) Ruko complex in Cakung, East Jakarta, on Monday (25/5/2026). Anto admitted he does not know or recognise the WO’s owner. “I don’t know them and have never seen them. Perhaps because we work different shifts,” Anto added. Despite this, Anto, who works morning to afternoon shifts at his office, observed that Marwah WO was busy with visitors when it first opened. The WO began operations around late December 2025. Additionally, three to four couples would visit daily. “From morning to afternoon, three or four couples usually come in. They go inside. That was during the initial months after the WO opened,” Anto said. “Couples typically come for dress fittings. You can see the dresses,” he added. However, during Ramadan or around March 2026, Marwah WO’s condition reportedly declined. He heard staff salaries had not been paid for several months. “Complaints arose over food running out and not meeting the promised specifications. Service users were furious,” Anto said. “Following this, other residents began to complain. From conversations with us, customers reported being only met by WO staff,” he added. Complaining customers stated that staff were unable to provide solutions for their issues.
