Martha Tilaar Relies on Natural and Halal Products to Boost Sales
PT Martina Berto Tbk, the company that houses the Martha Tilaar brand, is targeting sales of Rp501.82 billion in 2026, a 24.98 per cent increase compared to last year’s realised figures. The company will rely on natural and halal product innovation and strengthening digital sales to achieve this target. In addition to boosting sales, the company is also aiming for EBITDA of Rp61 billion, operating profit of Rp48 billion, and net profit after tax of Rp24.8 billion. These targets are part of a phased effort to improve financial performance this year.
President Director of PT Martina Berto Tbk, Bryan David Emil, stated that 2026 is a crucial year for the company to strengthen growth through product innovation, operational efficiency, and sales channel reinforcement. “Our focus in 2026 is to drive healthier and more measured growth by strengthening digital and online channels, innovating products that are relevant to consumer needs, developing export markets, and increasing the contribution of the company’s strategic business units. With an increasingly strengthened operational foundation, we are optimistic that the company can continue its performance recovery momentum,” Bryan said during an online public expose on Thursday.
To achieve these targets, Martina Berto will strengthen natural and halal product innovation, expand export markets, improve supply chain efficiency, optimise selling prices, accelerate the digitalisation of work processes, and increase the contribution of its subsidiaries. These strategies are expected to drive sales growth while improving the company’s profitability. Throughout 2025, Martina Berto recorded sales of Rp401.5 billion. The company also posted a gross profit of Rp158.9 billion with a gross profit margin of 39.58 per cent, and EBITDA of Rp12.1 billion. Amidst challenges in the cosmetics industry, the company maintained cost discipline and operational control as a basis for performance recovery.
Martina Berto is also continuing to strengthen synergies with its business entities. PT Tara Parama Semesta manages the Martha Tilaar Shop network as a sales channel, while PT Cedefindo supports cosmetic manufacturing activities and product development. This synergy is expected to strengthen the company’s competitiveness in both domestic and export markets. The company, which has been operating for more than five decades, stated that it will continue to develop products based on Indonesian natural ingredients, utilise digital technology, and strengthen corporate governance to support sustainable business growth.
