Market info center formed

JAKARTA (JP): The Ministry of Industry and Trade has formed a market information center to provide consumers with information on prices and stocks of commodities in the domestic market.

The ministry announced yesterday the center would provide the public with updates on the prices and stocks of some commodities, as well as information on the distribution of goods and the latest government measures taken in the market.

The center also provides analysis on the data it provides.

The center can be accessed through the Internet at http://www.dprin.go.id. Information is also available via e-mail at PIP@Pusdata.dprin.go.id, telephone at (021) 231-4587 and 231-4588, and facsimile at (021) 231-4589.

People seeking information can visit the center's office in the Directorate of Domestic Trade at Jalan M.I. Ridwan Rais No. 5 Block II, 10th floor, Jakarta 10110. (das)
