Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) has become attractive again after closing significantly higher in Wednesday’s trading (1/4), rising 1.93% to 7,184.44.

The index’s strengthening was supported by a surge in shares of PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC), which rocketed 21.60%, followed by PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) up 2.94% and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) gaining 4.76%. On the other hand, pressure came from shares of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) which fell 3.58%, PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) weakening 6.59%, and PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) correcting 5.76%.

Foreign investor activity was recorded as still showing net selling with a net sell value of Rp162.85 billion in the regular market and Rp165.50 billion across all markets.

Sector-wise, the majority of sectors moved in the green zone, with 10 out of 11 sectors recording gains. The industrial sector led the strengthening with a 6.11% rise, while the healthcare sector was the only one to correct slightly by 0.20%.

Positive sentiment also came from global markets. The US stock exchange closed higher, with the Dow Jones index up 0.48% to 46,565, the S&P 500 strengthening 0.72% to 6,575, and the Nasdaq rising 1.16% to 21,840.

This strengthening was driven by market participants’ optimism regarding US President Donald Trump’s efforts to ease the Iran conflict in the coming weeks. The MSCI Indonesia index also rose 1.44%, although the Indonesia ETF (EIDO) movement was somewhat limited with a slight 0.06% decline.

From the corporate side, PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC) has set a higher performance growth target for 2026. The company aims for revenue of Rp5.10 trillion, up from the 2025 realisation of Rp4.27 trillion.

Net profit is also projected to increase to Rp700 billion from Rp623.57 billion the previous year. For the first quarter of 2026, management estimates revenue in the range of Rp1.1 trillion to Rp1.2 trillion.

This optimism is supported by solid 2025 performance, with revenue growing 10.13% year-on-year to Rp4.27 trillion from Rp3.88 trillion. Net profit also increased 14.94% to Rp623.58 billion from Rp542.50 billion.

This growth was driven by increased domestic demand for premium building materials, production cost efficiencies, and product diversification strategies. Technically, IMPC shares show strengthening momentum and have the potential to continue rising towards the Rp2,400 area after breaking through a minor resistance level.

Meanwhile, PT Dana Brata Luhur Tbk (TEBE) plans to distribute dividends of Rp200.46 billion, even though net profit for the 2025 fiscal year was recorded at Rp132.73 billion, relatively stable compared to Rp133.19 billion in 2024.

The dividend per share is estimated to increase to Rp156, much higher than Rp50 the previous year. The dividend payout ratio reached 151.03%.

This policy will impact a reduction in retained earnings balance by Rp70 billion from the previous position of Rp677.67 billion. The cum dividend schedule in the regular market is set for 8 April, while dividend payment will be made on 24 April.
