The arrangement was carried out in the Parung Market area, Bogor, West Java. A total of 191 street vendor (PKL) stalls in the market area were regulated.
“The regulation was carried out at two main points, namely along Jalan H. Mawi and the Parung Market area. From the results of the activity, 191 PKL stalls were successfully regulated,” said Parung Police Chief Kompol Maman Firmansyah on Thursday (16/4/2026).
Maman said the regulation took place on Wednesday (15/4) the previous day. His side also provided security during the regulation.
“This is part of the Bogor Regency Government’s programme to organise the market area, maintain public order, and reduce traffic jams that often occur due to PKL activities using the road body and public facilities,” he explained.
The regulation was carried out with a humane approach. His side also provided advice to the PKL to trade in the designated places.
“The presence of the police in this activity aims to provide a sense of security and prevent potential disturbances during the regulation process,” he stated.
According to him, the regulation ran smoothly without any friction at the location. A total of 113 combined personnel were deployed in the PKL regulation.
“Parung Police Station urges all communities, especially traders, to jointly maintain order and comply with applicable regulations, in order to create an orderly, comfortable market environment that supports the smooth running of economic activities,” he concluded.
