Mark Your Calendars! Toll Rates on Cikampek-Semarang Route Discounted by 46%
Jakarta — PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB) has announced good news for road users. From Thursday, 12 March 2026 at 05:00 WIB through Tuesday, 31 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB, PT JSB will implement toll rate discounts of approximately 23%, with certain travel schemes offering savings of up to 46%.
This policy reflects the company’s commitment to improving public services whilst supporting smooth traffic distribution during the Eid holiday travel and return period. With these toll rate reductions, it is hoped that journeys to hometowns and returns to original cities will be smoother, more comfortable, and more affordable.
PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang’s Chief Executive Officer Nasrullah explained that implementing these toll rate cuts is part of the company’s service strategy to anticipate increased public mobility during the Eid holiday period.
“This toll rate discount policy is expected to help optimise traffic distribution during the Eid travel and return period, whilst providing direct tangible benefits to road users,” stated Nasrullah in a written statement on Friday (13 March 2026).
Nasrullah further clarified that toll rate discounts apply when the electronic money balance is sufficient and the vehicle’s origin and category data are properly recorded in the transaction system. The toll rate discounts on the Batang-Semarang section are as follows:
23% Discount
Applies to all transactions at toll gates managed by PT JSB from 12 March 2026 at 05:00 WIB through 31 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB.
Up to 46% Discount During Outbound Travel
Applies from 15 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB through 16 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB for continuous journeys from Cikampek Utama Toll Gate through Kalikangkung Toll Gate.
Up to 46% Discount During Return Travel
Applies from 26 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB through 27 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB for continuous journeys from Kalikangkung Toll Gate through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.
With these toll rate discounts on the Batang-Semarang section, road users making continuous journeys from Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (Cikatama) through Kalikangkung Toll Gate will benefit from significantly reduced rates.
“For example, according to the discount simulation during outbound travel on 15 March 2026 from 00:00 WIB through 16 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB for a continuous journey from Cikampek Utama Toll Gate through Kalikangkung Toll Gate, the original journey toll of IDR 446,500 becomes IDR 289,450, representing savings of IDR 157,050. Meanwhile, for return travel from 26 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB through 27 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB, the original journey toll of IDR 467,500 becomes IDR 304,150, representing savings of IDR 163,350,” Nasrullah explained.
Through this policy, PT JSB hopes that vehicle traffic distribution during the Eid period will be more evenly distributed, thereby minimising the potential for traffic congestion whilst providing a safer, more comfortable, smoother, and more secure travel experience for those undertaking Eid journeys in either direction.
