Brellian explained the insurance being introduced aims to answer the high mobility of marine tourism in Bali, especially at Sanur Port which in recent years has become a favourite for tourists crossing to Nusa Penida. The high mobility has driven the need for practical, fast, and easily accessible travel protection. ‘To meet these needs, we are launching Jasindo Travel Insurance at Sanur Port in collaboration with PT Mitra Kasih Perkasa (MKP). Through this collaboration, tourists can obtain instant travel protection before departure,’ he said. The instant insurance is welcome news, especially because the application process is very fast and practical, so travellers do not have to deal with bureaucratic administration when enjoying snorkelling, diving, and other water rides. Through this cooperative provision of responsive insurance, Bali’s marine tourism operators are hoped to offer more professional and credible services to consumers.
