MALAYSIA: Two Malaysian marine police trainees have been charged with raping an Indonesian woman and then robbing her of her money and valuables, reports said on Saturday.

The men, aged 22 and 25, allegedly committed the crime at a deserted cemetery in southern Johor state where they were based for training.

The men are charged with abducting and raping the 32-year-old Indonesian woman, and forcing her to perform oral sex on them before robbing her of her gold necklace, mobile phone, travel documents and 300 ringgit (US$79), the New Straits Times reported. -- DPA
