Many children neglected

JAMBI, Jambi: A total of 30,429 children who roam the streets
have yet to receive help from the local social service office,
Antara reported yesterday.

Head of the office Imam Achmadi said here yesterday that the
province has 40,568 neglected children, but that only 20 percent
have been accommodated in local orphanages.

"We just don't have enough facilities and resources to help
them all," he said. (swe)
