Manulife Wealth & Asset Management today announced that it has completed the previously announced transaction to acquire PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia (Schroders Indonesia) through PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI), after all closing conditions were met, including obtaining approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The transaction value of this acquisition was not disclosed to the public. The completion of this transaction marks the beginning of a structured integration process between MAMI and Schroders Indonesia. During the integration period, Manulife Wealth & Asset Management will operate in Indonesia through MAMI and Schroders Indonesia in parallel, maintaining their respective structures while preparing for a gradual merger process.
