Manulife Indonesia Reports Rp1.28 Trillion Profit as RBC Ratio Surges to 650%
Manulife Indonesia reported a 161.5% year-on-year increase in after-tax profit to Rp1.28 trillion in 2025, driven by higher insurance service income and investment revenue. Insurance service income rose to Rp3.97 trillion, with net insurance service profits of Rp299.77 billion, while investment income and gains, including PAYDI, totalled Rp5.09 trillion, resulting in a net profit of Rp1.28 trillion.
“In 2025, marking Manulife’s 40th anniversary in Indonesia, we achieved solid financial performance supported by business growth, disciplined investment management, and strong solvency levels,” said President Director and CEO Lauren Sulistiawati in a statement on Thursday, 28 May 2026, in Jakarta.
Lauren added that these achievements underscore business resilience, customer trust, and Manulife Indonesia’s commitment to long-term protection of Indonesian families.
Manulife Indonesia’s total assets reached Rp66.17 trillion as of December 2025, maintaining a risk-based capital (RBC) ratio of 650%, well above the regulatory minimum of 120%.
Meanwhile, PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia Syariah (Manulife Syariah Indonesia), a subsidiary of Manulife Indonesia, also recorded positive growth in 2025. The Sharia-compliant subsidiary reported total business revenue of Rp302.1 billion, a significant increase from Rp66.5 billion in 2024, driving assets up to Rp1.55 trillion.
