Man's Body Found in Pile of Wood in Bekasi, 100% Burned
The body of a man was found behind a pile of burning wood at a timber waste depot on Jalan Toyogiri, Jatimulya, Tambun Selatan, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The body was 100 per cent burned.
‘I say it was 100 per cent burned because it can no longer be recognised, it is completely charred,’ said Tambun Selatan Police Chief Kompol Wuryanti when contacted on Tuesday (25/8/2026).
The body was discovered by residents in the early hours of Tuesday (25/8/2026). Upon receiving the report, police immediately rushed to the scene.
The cause of death is not yet known. The victim’s identity has also not been identified.
‘It is still under investigation,’ said Wuryanti.
She urged members of the public who may be missing a family member or relative to report to the Tambun Selatan Police immediately.
‘The victim’s characteristics are male, approximately 165 cm tall, weighing 60 to 65 kg,’ she explained.
