Manpower Ministry Opens Free Competency Certification for Internship Programme Alumni

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has opened registration for free competency certification for alumni of the 2025 Batch 3 National Internship Programme (MagangHub). This certification programme is organised through the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) as a form of recognition of participants’ competencies to enhance competitiveness in the workforce. Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development (Binalavotas) at Kemnaker, Darmawansyah, invited all internship graduates to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their competencies and improve career prospects. “Registration for free competency certification is now open. It is time for internship alumni to prove their abilities and add value as a provision for their future careers,” he said. He explained that through competency certification, internship graduates will obtain national recognition of their competencies, increase their competitiveness in the job market, strengthen their portfolios, complement their internship experience, and prove their abilities through competency tests. “Another benefit of holding a competency certification is that it can encourage career development, increase company trust, and support the improvement of the quality of Indonesia’s human resources,” he said. Participants can choose from 15 competency certification schemes relevant to their respective fields, namely Office Administration Management, Assistant Web Developer, Preparation of Single Entity Financial Reports, Preparation of Financial Reports for Beginners, Human Resources Supervisor, and Data Analyst. Other schemes include Digital Filing, Junior Secretary, Computer Operator, Audio-Visual Work Production, Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Officer, Front Office Service Provision, Graphic Design Creation, Customer Service, and Digital Marketing. Darmawansyah added that registration for competency certification for MagangHub 2025 Batch 3 graduates is conducted online from 29 June to 10 July 2026. For the assessment location, participants can choose the nearest professional certification institution (LSP) to their domicile, while the offline competency certification implementation will take place from 13 July to 13 August 2026. “After the assessment process is complete, participants will be declared competent or not yet competent,” he said.
