Manpower Ministry and Bank bjb Forge Partnership for HR Development and Banking Services

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has established a strategic partnership with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (Bank bjb) for the development of human resource (HR) competencies and the utilisation of banking services. Kemnaker Secretary General Cris Kuntadi stated in Jakarta on Friday that the collaboration is expected to support improvements in public service quality whilst strengthening the implementation of employment programmes that are increasingly adaptive, productive, and competitive. Cris noted that the collaboration also embodies a synergy between the government and the banking sector in responding to the continuously evolving needs of manpower development. “This collaboration is not only directed at enhancing the competencies of human resources within both institutions, but also at delivering more effective services and providing tangible benefits to the public,” he said. Therefore, the partnership between Kemnaker and Bank bjb is expected to strengthen institutional capacity while simultaneously improving the quality of service to the community. The scope of the cooperation includes capacity building and HR competency development within both Kemnaker and Bank bjb. The implementation of education, training, and other development programmes will be adjusted according to the prevailing regulations of each institution.
